Christopher's music has exploded in popularity in the figure skating world, particularly in Asia. In this season and last, no fewer than six skaters have been performing routines to his music, many of them medaling in various world competitions.

He made the discovery on Twitter, and promptly tweeted his excitement. This tweet was widely shared amongst figure skating aficionados, who sent him links to various other skaters competing to his music. This social media exchange was even reported on by the Olympics themselves, who wrote about it on their website:

Yoshida has chosen two pieces of music that are both a stylistic change as well as a challenge for her. If she had any doubts on how her musical interpretation was going, she had to look no further than composer Christopher Tin, whose music she skates to in the short program.

"I'm a fan," Tin wrote on X, calling out two other Japanese skaters in the process.
