Out Now: 'Song Offerings: Choral Works by Christopher Tin'

Christopher's newest album 'Song Offerings: Choral Works by Christopher Tin' has now been released in full on the famed Decca Gold classical record label. Performed by Denver's premiere choral ensemble Kantorei, and recorded and produced by the Grammy-winning classical recording team Soundmirror (producer Blanton Alspaugh and engineer Mark Donahue), 'Song Offerings' is a recording of two of Christopher's multi-movement choral works: 'Song Offerings', conducted by Kantorei's Artistic Director Joel M. Rinsema, and 'Transfigurations', conducted by Christopher himself.

'Song Offerings' differs from Christopher's previous albums in that it's music that was written specifically for live performance by choirs of all skill levels. The recordings were made in a more traditional 'classical' manner--all singers and players gathered together on a concert stage, with microphones set up to capture a live feel.
