Llangollen International Eisteddfod

Christopher headlined the third night of the 70th Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod festival in Llangollen, Wales. Conducting the Welsh National Opera Orchestra and featuring a roster of international soloists and choirs, Christopher performed Calling All Dawns, Sogno di Volare, and Passou o Verao to an audience of 1500.

The Shropshire Star wrote "Christopher Tin was the star of the show..." and that Baba Yetu prompted "riotous applause and a standing ovation from the audence both after the show and its encore." The concert was filmed by Rondo Media, and the video will be broadcast on Welsh-language station S4C and hosted online (link) and through the BBC iPlayer for 35 days following the concert.

The concert featured Welsh soprano Elin Manahan Thomas, Portuguese fadista Nathalie Pires, Guadalupe-born Joel Virgel, Mongolian singer Nominjin, Indian-Australian tenor Shanul Sharma, and Maori performers Lewis Whaitiri and David Jones. Four international choirs joined the local Celebration Chorus on stage: the Ching-Yun Chorus from Taiwan, the KZN Youth Chorus from South Africa, and the Capital City Girls and Aeolions from the US.
