Christopher has been commissioned by pianist Lara Downes to compose a piano concerto for performance during the sesquicentennial of the United States in 2026. It's part of a trio of commissioned works by prominent American composers, as part of her 'Declaration' project, and will subsequently be recorded and released. A to-be-announced consortium of world-leading orchestras will be giving performances globally starting with an American premiere in 2026.

Christopher will be bringing his music to Vilnius, Lithuania. For two nights in December, he will conduct an all-Christopher Tin program, hosted by Bel Canto Choir Vilnius, and accompanied by the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. Additional guest artists include Duodeco Vocal Ensemble (LT), A Scalpella Choir (SE), and soloists Jamal Moore (US) and Tomas Pavlionis (LT). 2K Games formally announced that Christopher has returned to the Civilization franchise to compose the theme music for 'Civilization VII'. The game will be released worldwide on February 11, 2025.

Kantorei, the premiere choir of Denver, CO, has commissioned a new choral suite from Christopher entitled 'Song Offerings'; a five-movement setting of poems by Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore from his Nobel Prize-winning work Gitanjali. Also on the program is his other newest choral suite, 'Transfigurations', based on the poetry of Charles Anthony Silvestri. Washington National Opera's production of 'Turandot', with a new ending by Christopher, was a smash hit. The entire run sold out prior to opening night, with rave reviews and coverage from The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, NPR and Associated Press.

Christopher's new ending to Giacomo Puccini's unfinished masterpiece 'Turandot' is premiering at the Kennedy Center on May 11th. A commission from Washington National Opera, 'Turandot' features a new libretto by Emmy-winning playwright Susan Soon He Stanton. There are seven performances thoughout the month of May, and tickets are available at the Kennedy Center website.

Chromatica Chorale of Northern California has commissioned a new work from Christopher. Entitled 'Transfigurations', it's a setting of a suite of poems by celebrated choral lyricist Charles Anthony Silvestri. Tickets to the world premiere are available at the Chromatica Chorale's website.

Christopher has been invited to speak at the Guggenheim Museum as part of their 'Works and Process' lecture series, where the world's great creative minds give an exclusive look inside their creative process. He will be discussing his new completion of Puccini's final opera 'Turandot', alongside librettist Susan Soon He Stanton and artistic director Francesca Zambello. Christopher will be returning to Carnegie Hall exactly five years after making his conducting debut in the legendary venue. Yannick Nezet-Seguin, one of the leading conductors of the day, was profiled on the iconic news show '60 Minutes'. In one scene, he visits the Philadephia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, and rehearses their orchestra and choir for an upcoming performance of 'Sogno di Volare'. Christopher has been commissioned by Washington National Opera to compose a new ending to Giacomo Puccini's great unfinished masterpiece 'Turandot'. Although home to one of the most recognizable arias in opera, "Nessun Dorma", Puccini died before he could complete the work. Christopher, along with playwright Susan Soon He Stanton (HBO's Succession), will be creating a new ending that gives Princess Turandot the resolution she deserves, while also bringing Puccini's final masterpiece into the 21st century. The new production will premiere at the Kennedy Center on May 11th, 2024.

Christopher is once again collaborating with Stay At Home Choir to produce a virtual reality recording of 'Baba Yetu'. In addition to creating a recording and YouTube video, as they did last year with 'Sogno di Volare', SAHC is partnering with Brunel University to create a 360° video and spatial audio experience. Christopher has received two nominations for the 2023 GRAMMY Awards®. His latest album The Lost Birds was nominated in the 'Best Classical Compendium' category, and his score for the game 'Old World' was nominated in the 'Best Score Soundtrack For Video Games' category.
