Guggenheim Museum

Christopher will be at the Guggenheim Museum discussing his new completion of Puccini's final opera 'Turandot', alongside librettist Susan Soon He Stanton and artistic director Francesca Zambello. The talk is part of the Guggenheim's celebrated 'Works and Process' lecture series, where the world's great creative minds give an exclusive look inside their creative process. Kennedy Center

Christopher's new completion of Puccini's final opera 'Turandot' will premiere at the Kennedy Center, with seven performances scheduled throughout May 2024. Christopher, alongside librettist Susan Soon He Stanton (HBO's Succession), was commissioned by Washington National Opera to write a new ending to Puccini's masterpiece, which was left unfinished when he died. Carnegie Hall

VENUE CHANGE. Christopher will be returning to Carnegie Hall in his first New York concert appearance since the pandemic. Presented by DCINY, he'll be conducting their in-house orchestra and a mega-choir made up of participants around the world, in a program of his greatest hits. World Premiere of 'To Shiver The Sky'

Christopher's sweeping oratorio 'To Shiver The Sky' was given its world premiere in Washington DC by The United States Air Force Band, Choral Arts Society of Washington, and ModernMedieval. The multimedia concert was presented by Washington Performing Arts at DC's newest waterfront venue The Anthem, with three screens of synchronized videos.

Llangollen International Eisteddfod

Christopher headlined the third night of the 70th Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod festival in Llangollen, Wales. Conducting the Welsh National Opera Orchestra and featuring a roster of international soloists and choirs, Christopher performed Calling All Dawns, Sogno di Volare, and Passou o Verao to an audience of 1500. The Shropshire Star wrote "Christopher Tin was the star of the show..." and that Baba Yetu prompted "riotous applause and a standing ovation from the audence both after the show and its encore."
